Chapter 15 - A Vow Stronger Than Steel

One year later.
The gardens of the Coral Gables estate were transformed into a paradise of white
orchids, glowing fairy lights, and crystal arches overlooking the bay.
Two hundred guests—loyal associates, international business partners, hospital
staff, and neighborhood friends from Hialeah—sat in velvet chairs facing the
grand floral altar.
At the front of the aisle, in a specialized motorized chair covered in white
roses, Beatrice’s grandmother sat smiling radiantly, holding a bouquet of baby's
breath.
Lorenzo stood at the altar in a custom black tuxedo, looking more striking and
commanding than ever. His eyes never left the grand double doors of the mansion.
The orchestra began to play a sweeping, romantic processional.
The double doors opened.
Beatrice stepped into the sunlight.
She was an absolute vision.
Her custom bridal gown was an off-the-shoulder masterpiece of ivory lace and
flowing silk that celebrated every gorgeous curve of her full figure. A
cathedral-length veil cascaded behind her over her cascading brown curls, and
her emerald engagement ring sparkled brilliantly in the Florida sun.
She walked down the aisle with total confidence, grace, and undeniable majesty.
She was no longer the invisible maid hiding in the shadows.
She was the undisputed queen of the Falcone empire.
As she reached the altar, Lorenzo stepped down to take her hand. His eyes were
bright with unshed tears of pure adoration.
"You look stunning, my love," Lorenzo whispered, his voice thick with emotion.
"You don't look so bad yourself, Mr. Falcone," Beatrice smiled back, her eyes
sparkling.
The officiant spoke the ancient vows of honor, loyalty, and eternal love.
When it came time for the rings, Lorenzo took Beatrice’s hand, looking directly
into her eyes with an intensity that silenced the entire garden.
"Beatrice," Lorenzo said, his voice ringing clear and strong. "On the darkest
night of my life, you stepped out of the shadows to save me. You gave me your
courage, your loyalty, and your heart. I vow to protect you, to cherish you, to
honor every inch of who you are, and to love you through every storm until my
last breath."
Beatrice slipped a platinum band onto Lorenzo’s finger, her voice steady and
full of joy.
"Lorenzo," she said. "You saw me when the world made me feel invisible. You gave
me a home, you protected my family, and you loved me for exactly who I am. I vow
to stand by your side as your partner, your confidante, and your wife, forever
and always."
"I now pronounce you husband and wife," the officiant declared with a broad
smile. "Lorenzo, you may kiss your bride."
Lorenzo didn't hesitate. He pulled Beatrice into his arms, dipping her slightly
as he kissed her with all the passion, devotion, and fire in his soul.
The entire garden erupted into thunderous applause, cheers echoing over the
sparkling waters of Biscayne Bay.
Lorenzo lifted Beatrice back up, keeping his arm firmly around her waist, and
turned to face their world together.
