Chapter 13 - A Debt Paid in Full

That afternoon, a sleek black Maybach pulled up to the entrance of St. Jude's
Memory Care Pavilion in Coral Gables—the premier neurological and elderly care
facility in South Florida.

Beatrice stepped out of the vehicle, supported by Lorenzo’s hand.

Inside the sunlit garden room, an elderly woman with silver hair sat in a
comfortable armchair, watching the hummingbirds outside the window.

"Grandma?" Beatrice called softly.

The old woman turned, her faded brown eyes lighting up with instant recognition.
"Bea? Oh, my sweet girl!"

Beatrice rushed forward, dropping to her knees beside the chair and wrapping her
arms around her grandmother. "I'm here, Grandma. I'm here."

Her grandmother stroked Beatrice’s soft hair, smiling gently. "Look at you, Bea.
You look so beautiful. Like a queen."

Lorenzo stepped into the room, holding a thick leather folder.

He knelt beside Beatrice, greeting the elderly woman with gentle, respectful
warmth. "Mrs. Miller, it is an honor to finally meet you. I am Lorenzo Falcone."

"Are you my granddaughter's friend?" Mrs. Miller asked, her eyes twinkling.

"I am the man who owes her everything," Lorenzo replied with a warm smile.

He handed the folder to Beatrice.

"What is this?" Beatrice asked, opening the embossed leather.

Inside was the deed to a private luxury villa located directly adjacent to the
Falcone estate, fully staffed with private twenty-four-hour specialized nurses,
physical therapists, and chefs. Attached was a trust fund established in
Beatrice’s name with an initial deposit of ten million dollars.

"Lorenzo..." Beatrice gasped, her hands shaking. "This is... this is millions of
dollars! I can't accept this!"

"You're not accepting a gift, Beatrice," Lorenzo said, taking her hand in his.
"You are receiving what you earned. Your grandmother will have the finest care
on earth for the rest of her life, and you will never have to worry about money,
safety, or survival again."

Beatrice threw her arms around Lorenzo’s neck, weeping tears of profound
gratitude and joy. "Thank you... thank you so much, Lorenzo!"

Lorenzo held her tight against his chest, kissing her temple. "You gave me a
reason to live, Beatrice. There is no price tag on that."
