Chapter 15 - A Second Vow Under the City Lights: The Billionaire’s True Forever (THE END)

Graham stared at the torn papers on the floor, then snapped his gaze up to mine,
completely stunned.
“Avery… what did you just do?”
“I don't want your ten million dollars, Graham,” I said, stepping across the
torn papers until I was standing inches from him. “And I don't want an
annulment.”
“Avery—”
“I love you,” I said, laying all my cards on the table, my heart beating
fiercely in my chest. “I didn't stay because of a contract. I didn't take down
Marcus because of a job promotion. I stayed because I love the man who drinks
black coffee at 5:00 AM, the man who protects everyone around him, and the man
who took a bullet for me in the rain. I am your wife, Graham Reed. And you are
not getting rid of me that easily.”
Graham stared at me for three agonizing seconds before a raw, breathless laugh
broke from his lips.
He grabbed my waist, lifted me completely off the floor, and spun me around in
the middle of the penthouse living room, kissing me with a fierce, possessive
passion that made the entire universe disappear.
“God, I love you,” he groaned against my lips, setting me gently down on my
feet.
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small black velvet box.
Graham dropped down onto one knee right on top of the shredded annulment papers.
He opened the box to reveal a breathtaking, flawless eight-carat emerald-cut
diamond ring that caught the city lights like a star.
“Avery King,” Graham said, his voice trembling with real, unhidden emotion. “Our
first wedding was a desperate move to save an empire. But this… this is me
asking you to spend the rest of your life ruling it with me. Will you marry me
for real?”
Tears of pure joy streamed down my cheeks.
“Yes,” I laughed through my tears. “A thousand times, yes.”
Graham slid the diamond ring onto my finger right next to the original Vegas
platinum band. He stood up, pulled me into his arms, and held me tight against
his chest as the lights of Chicago sparkled beneath our feet.
The Ice King had finally melted. And together, we had built an empire of our

own—one forged in fire, bound by choice, and sealed with true love.
